1. What we collect
Nothing that identifies you personally. Only information for advertising, app stability and usage statistics is sent, and it goes to Google.
We never collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. There is nothing that identifies you directly. There is no sign-up and no login.
The following tools collect information. All of them are provided by Google.
- Google AdMob (ads) - to select, show and measure ads: the advertising identifier (ad ID), an approximate location derived from your IP address, your device model and OS version, and a record of ads shown or tapped
- Firebase Crashlytics (crash diagnostics) - when the app terminates abnormally: device model, OS version, app version, the call trace at the point of failure, device language and whether it was a development build
- Google Analytics for Firebase (usage statistics) - app opens and closes, which game you opened, device model and OS version, the advertising identifier (ad ID), an approximate country derived from your IP address, and, when an in-app purchase happens, the product ID, product name and price
- Firebase Remote Config (settings delivery) - an identifier assigned per app installation, used when fetching values such as ad intervals and coin rewards
Why we collect it. The game is free and supported by ads. Crash diagnostics are the only way we can learn why the app stops working on a device we do not own, and usage statistics tell us which games people actually play, which is how we decide what to improve.
⚠️ None of this tells us who you are, and we do not try to find out. Your game record itself (solved puzzles, coins, yard, calendar) is never sent.
2. What stays on your device
The following is stored only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
- The number and record of each puzzle you solved (time taken, score, seal earned)
- Lifetime records and best scores per game
- Your level, experience and coins
- Collected picture pieces and album progress
- Props and backdrops placed in your yard, and the layout of each yard page
- The Daily Puzzle calendar, its seals and your streak
- Settings such as language, music, sound effects, vibration, timer display and reminders
We do not collect any of this and have no way to read it.
3. Network use
The game itself works offline. Puzzles and dictionary definitions ship inside the app; nothing is downloaded from a server. With no connection you can still solve puzzles and keep your records.
The network is used only to fetch ads, to send the diagnostics and statistics described in section 1, and to fetch settings values. Transfers are always encrypted over HTTPS. Without a connection no ads appear, nothing is sent, and the game works as usual.
4. Advertising and payments
The game shows Google AdMob ads and offers in-app purchases.
- Banner ads - only at the bottom of a puzzle screen. There are none on the home, shelf, yard or settings screens
- Interstitial ads - after finishing a puzzle, once every few rounds and with a minimum gap between them
- Rewarded ads - when you are short on coins and on the result screen, only if you choose to watch one, in exchange for extra coins
The advertising identifier (ad ID) is used to select and measure ads. Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see Google's consent form on first launch and can choose whether to receive personalised ads. Declining does not affect the game; you simply see non-personalised ads.
Anywhere in the world you can reset or delete your ad ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
There are five in-app products: one ad removal (a one-time purchase) and four coin packs (each purchase adds coins used inside the game). Ad removal removes banner and interstitial ads only - rewarded ads, which you watch only when you choose to, remain.
Payment is handled by Google Play. We never receive or store payment details such as card numbers. The fact that you purchased is stored on your device only and is never sent to a server of ours. We do not have one. It is removed when you uninstall, and restored from the store when you install again.
Purchase history, however, is collected automatically by the analytics tool. When a purchase happens, Google Analytics for Firebase records the product ID, product name and price. We do not send this ourselves; the tool does it (Google documentation). It is used for statistics only and never to select or personalise ads.
⚠️ Advertising information is disclosed to Google as described in section 6, but purchase history is not. There Google acts only as a processor on our behalf and the record goes nowhere else. We never sell or trade information.
If the advertising or purchasing setup changes, we will update this page before that release and record it in the change history below.
5. Permissions
Only one permission is ever requested from you.
- Notifications - to remind you once in the evening if you have not solved the day's Daily Puzzle yet. It is off by default and is requested only at the moment you switch it on in settings. Declining does not affect the game. Reminders are scheduled on the device and never go through a server. You can turn it off at any time.
We do not use camera, microphone, contacts, location or storage access. The permissions below are declared automatically by the game and by the tools in section 1. They may appear in the Android permission list.
VIBRATE- a short buzz on a wrong answer (can be turned off in settings)INTERNET·ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE- fetching ads, sending diagnostics and statistics, fetching settingscom.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID·ACCESS_ADSERVICES_*- the advertising identifier and Android ad featuresWAKE_LOCK·FOREGROUND_SERVICE- so Google services can finish sending what they started- Install referrer (
BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE) - so usage statistics know which store the install came from com.android.vending.BILLING- declared for in-app purchases
The app also declares that it looks for a text-to-speech engine on the device
(an Android <queries> entry), used by "Listen" in section 7.
It is not a permission and no prompt appears.
6. Sharing and processors
We do not sell information. Advertising information (ad ID, approximate location, records of ads shown or tapped) is disclosed to Google so that ads can be served, measured and protected from fraud. Crash diagnostics, usage statistics and settings values are processed by Google on our behalf only and go nowhere else.
The information in section 1 is processed by:
| Processor | For what | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Google LLC | Google AdMob (serving and measuring ads) | Google data centres |
| Google LLC | Firebase Crashlytics (crash diagnostics) | Google data centres |
| Google LLC | Google Analytics for Firebase (usage statistics) | Google data centres |
| Google LLC | Firebase Remote Config (settings delivery) | Google data centres |
How Google uses information in connection with advertising is described in the Google partner sites policy. The app is distributed and payments are processed through Google Play. Anything the store collects during download or payment is governed by the store's own policy, and we do not receive it.
7. Other device features the app uses
Listen. Tapping "Listen" next to a word asks the text-to-speech engine installed on your device to read it. The app passes only that single word to the engine and records or stores nothing. On a device without the voice data, the app simply points you to the system screen where it can be installed.
Share. Tapping "Share" renders a picture of your result and hands it to the app you pick. We are not told where you sent it, and the picture is written only to your device's temporary folder.
8. Retention and deletion
Everything stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the app. No request procedure is needed.
You can also clear your records from within the game's settings. Information in section 1 is retained by Google according to each service's retention period. Because we hold nothing that identifies you, we cannot look up an individual's records. Resetting your ad ID breaks the link with anything recorded before.
9. Children
This game is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
