Subway Sketch: Real City Metro

The short version. This game has no accounts and collects nothing that identifies you - no name, no email, no contacts. Your progress, records, saved games and settings stay on your device and are never sent to a server. We do not have a server. What is sent to Google is information used to show ads, plus crash diagnostics, anonymous usage statistics and a settings download. Section 1 lists exactly what.

1. What we collect

Nothing that identifies you personally. Only information for advertising, app stability and usage statistics is sent, and it goes to Google.

We never collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. There is nothing that identifies you directly. There is no sign-up and no login.

The following tools collect information. All of them are provided by Google.

  • Google AdMob (ads) - to select, show and measure ads: the advertising identifier (ad ID), an approximate location derived from your IP address, your device model and OS version, and a record of ads shown or tapped
  • Firebase Crashlytics (crash diagnostics) - when the app terminates abnormally: device model, OS version, app version, the call trace at the point of failure, device language and whether it was a development build
  • Google Analytics for Firebase (usage statistics) - events the tool records automatically, such as app opens and closes and first launch; gameplay events the game records (game start and end, city, result, riders carried, stars earned, where a rewarded ad was watched, whether the tutorial was finished); app version, device model and OS version, an approximate country derived from your IP address, and, when an in-app purchase happens, the product ID, product name and price
  • Firebase Remote Config (settings delivery) - an identifier assigned per app installation, used when fetching a small number of setting values, such as the score thresholds for star ratings

Why we collect it. The game is free and supported by ads. Crash diagnostics are the only way we can learn why the app stops working on a device we do not own, and usage statistics tell us how the game is used, which is how we decide what to improve.

⚠️ None of this tells us who you are, and we do not try to find out. Your game data itself (progress, records, saved games, settings) is never sent.

2. What stays on your device

The following is stored only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

  • Which cities you have unlocked and completed, and your best score for each city
  • The game in progress (so you can resume it) and the network you built in your last completed game
  • Free mode settings you chose and the share codes you entered or copied
  • Settings such as language, sound, music and whether the tutorial hints have been shown
  • Whether you bought ad removal, and whether the app has already asked you to rate it

We do not collect any of this and have no way to read it. If your device backs up app data (for example Android's automatic backup or an iPhone backup), the operating system may include it in that backup; that is between you and the device maker, and we do not receive it.

3. Network use

The game itself works offline. City maps and station data ship inside the app; nothing is downloaded from a server. With no connection you can still play and keep your records.

The network is used only to fetch ads, to send the diagnostics and statistics described in section 1, and to fetch settings values. Transfers are always encrypted over HTTPS. Without a connection no ads appear, nothing is sent, and the game works as usual.

4. Advertising and payments

The game shows Google AdMob ads and offers one in-app purchase.

  • Rewarded ads - when you choose to watch one, in exchange for a benefit such as a revive after a game over, a budget boost or a free upgrade. They never play unless you choose them
  • Interstitial ads - full-screen ads at a safe moment during or after a game, with a minimum gap between them and a notice beforehand. None appear in your first game

The advertising identifier (ad ID) is used to select and measure ads. Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland may see Google's consent form on first launch and can choose whether to receive personalised ads. However, on iPhone the form is not shown if you did not allow tracking - we do not ask again about a choice you have already made. Declining does not affect the game; you see non-personalised ads or, in some cases, no ads.

On Android, anywhere in the world, you can reset or delete your ad ID in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).

On iPhone, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt appears on first launch. It is the iOS system dialog that asks whether the app may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you allow, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is used to select and measure ads. If you do not allow, iOS does not hand the identifier to the app and you see non-personalised ads. The game is the same either way; no feature is locked behind this permission. You can change it later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. When not allowed, ad measurement happens only through Apple's SKAdNetwork, in a form that cannot identify you.

You can also change your choice inside the app at any time. Tap Settings → "Ad privacy choices". If you answered Google's consent form, it opens again so you can change or withdraw your choice; on iPhone, if you did not allow tracking, it opens this app's page in iOS Settings (the Allow Tracking switch). It opens only when you tap it; the app never asks on its own. (On Android this row appears only in regions where consent is required.)

There is one in-app product: ad removal (a one-time purchase). Ad removal removes interstitial ads only - rewarded ads, which you watch only when you choose to, remain.

Payment is handled by Google Play on Android and the App Store on iPhone. We never receive or store payment details such as card numbers. The fact that you purchased is stored on your device only and is never sent to a server of ours. We do not have one. It is removed when you uninstall, and restored from the store when you install again.

Purchase history, however, is collected automatically by the analytics tool. When a purchase happens, Google Analytics for Firebase records the product ID, product name and price. We do not send this ourselves; the tool does it (Google documentation). It is used for statistics only and never to select or personalise ads.

⚠️ Advertising information is disclosed to Google as described in section 6, but purchase history is not. There Google acts only as a processor on our behalf and the record goes nowhere else. We never sell or trade information.

If the advertising or purchasing setup changes, we will update this page before that release and record it in the change history below.

5. Permissions

One permission is requested from you, and only on iPhone. On Android nothing is asked.

  • Tracking (iPhone only) - asked once on first launch through Apple's App Tracking Transparency dialog. It is for personalised ads and is described in section 4. Declining does not affect the game.

We do not use camera, microphone, contacts, location, notification or storage access. The permissions below are declared automatically by the game and by the tools in section 1. They may appear in the Android permission list. This list is Android-specific; iPhone has no equivalent declaration list.

  • VIBRATE - short haptic feedback
  • INTERNET · ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE - fetching ads, sending usage statistics, fetching settings values
  • com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID · ACCESS_ADSERVICES_* - the advertising identifier and Android's ad features
  • WAKE_LOCK · FOREGROUND_SERVICE - so Google services can finish sending what they started
  • Install source check (BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE) - so usage statistics know which store the app was installed from
  • com.android.vending.BILLING - declared for in-app purchases

6. Sharing and processors

We do not sell information. Advertising information (ad ID, approximate location, records of ads shown or tapped) is disclosed to Google so that ads can be served, measured and protected from fraud. Crash diagnostics, usage statistics and settings values are processed by Google on our behalf only and go nowhere else.

The information in section 1 is processed by:

ProcessorFor whatWhere
Google LLCGoogle AdMob (serving and measuring ads)Google data centres

Google LLCGoogle Analytics for Firebase (usage statistics)Google data centres
Google LLCFirebase Remote Config (settings delivery)Google data centres

How Google uses information in connection with advertising is described in the Google partner sites policy. The app is distributed and payments are processed through Google Play (Android) and the App Store (iPhone). Anything a store collects during download or payment is governed by that store's own policy (Google LLC / Apple Inc.), and we do not receive it.

7. Other device features the app uses

Share codes. In Free mode, tapping "Copy" next to the share code on the result screen puts that short code on your device's clipboard so you can send it to a friend yourself. When you open the screen for entering a code, the app looks at the clipboard once, and only if it holds a valid share code fills it in. Anything else on the clipboard is ignored, and nothing from the clipboard is stored or sent anywhere.

Rating prompt. At most once per device, after you complete a city, the app may ask the system to show its rating dialog (Google Play's in-app review on Android, Apple's rating prompt on iPhone). The dialog is run by the store, and we are not told whether you rated or what you wrote. The app remembers only that it has asked.

8. Retention and deletion

Everything stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the app. No request procedure is needed.

The only way to erase what is on your device is to uninstall the app; the game has no separate option to clear your records. Information in section 1 is retained by Google according to each service's retention period. Because we hold nothing that identifies you, we cannot look up an individual's records. Resetting your ad ID breaks the link with anything recorded before.

9. Children

This game is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
