The first game from the studio. Three board sizes, five difficulties, and a new board every day.
We are pleased to announce our first worldwide release: Hexis. The game is available on Google Play and the App Store.
Hexis is a hex minesweeper: every number on a black cell counts how many of its six neighbours are blue, and the braces and dashes tell you whether those blue cells sit together or apart. That is the whole ruleset, and it fits in three lines.
Boards are generated rather than shipped, and every one of them is checked before you see it. If a board cannot be finished by reading the numbers, it never reaches the device. Being stuck always means there is a clue you have not read yet.
The hint system was the part that took longest. A hint that opens the answer leaves you stuck again on the next board, so this one walks through the reasoning a step at a time: a green outline marks the cell being solved, amber marks the clue it came from.
Hexis runs offline and asks for no account.
There is a trailer too. You can watch it at the top of this page.
If you like puzzles that hold still and let you think, try Hexis.
